The UCNCGOP particpated in the Waxhaw, Indian Trail and Unionville Parades on July 4th, 2009. It was a good event and the reception was excellent from the parade participants!

A special event will be held at the Jesse Helms Center on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Americans for Prosperity ~ www.americansforprosperity.org are hosting a dinner to talk about the current health care debate in Washington, DC. We’ve arranged a special price for all Helms Center friends to attend this unique dinner ($15) which also includes a reception. Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory and others will be addressing the peril of Government run healthcare and what the informed citizenry can do to enable reform concurrent with market-based principals that are the proven best way forward.
