The Republican Party of Union County will have its annual county precinct meeting on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7:00 at Monroe High School.  THIS IS AN UPDATE FROM THE PREVIOUSLY COMMUNICATED DATE OF FEBRUARY 9TH.  The purpose of the meeting is to start the credentialing process for delegates for the County Convention at the Old County Courthouse on March 13th. All Union County Republicans are encouraged to attend.  Questions should be addressed to:  secretary@ucncgop.org

Hal Weatherman, Chief of Staff to US Representative Sue Myrick, will be presenting a PowerPoint presentation entitled “Connect the Dots; Terrorism 101.” The presentation will equip us with basic foundational information in understanding the terrorism we see happening in the United States today. It is a secular – non partisan overview of national security and terrorism activities. Sue Myrick serves on the House Intelligence Committee and is Chairwoman of the House Anti-Terrorism Caucus.

As always, men are welcome at all our meetings. Come for refreshments & chat at 6:30 p.m. The meeting starts at 7.

Union County GOP Announces Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner

The Union County GOP will host its annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner on Saturday, March 6th, 6:00-10:00 PM at the Union County Ag Center in Monroe .    Speakers will include Rep. Sue Myrick,  Former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory and others.   We’ll have live entertainment, including dancing,  and silent and live auctions.   Advance tickets (by March 4th) are $40.00 per person, $75.00 per couple.   Tickets at the door are $50.00 per person.
